Alia Bhatt’s subsequent movie Jigra shall be directed by Vasan Bala. She is going to co-produce the movie together with her mentor Karan Johar.
On Tuesday morning, September 26, Alia Bhatt stunned her followers as she introduced her subsequent movie titled Jigra. Directed by Vasan Bala of Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota fame, Alia can be co-producing the movie below her banner Everlasting Sunshine Productions, together with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
The Nationwide Award-winning actress shared the announcement video on her Instagram. The one minute clip, with haunting background rating, begins with a quote from GK Chesterton, “The paradox of braveness is that one should be just a little careless of life in an effort to maintain it.” In her voiceover, Alia then says that she is going to by no means let something occur to her brother, whom she calls her “jigra”.
Together with the clip, Alia wrote, “Presenting #Jigra, directed by the extraordinarily gifted @vasanbala and produced by @dharmamovies & @eternalsunshineproduction. From debuting in a Dharma manufacturing to now producing a movie with them, in some ways, it looks like coming full circle from the place I began.”
“On daily basis is a special day… thrilling, difficult (and just a little scary)… not simply as an actor but in addition as a producer as we deliver this movie to life, and I CANNOT wait to share extra as we transfer ahead. JIGRA – in cinemas on twenty seventh September 2024”, she added. Alia had made her debut in Dharma Productions’ Pupil of the Yr directed by Karan Johar himself in 2012.
Her followers shared their pleasure within the feedback part as certainly one of them wrote, “Alia changing into a producer and doing collaboration with dharma from the place she began as an actor. Produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Somen Mishra, and Alia Bhatt, and directed by Vasan Bala, Jigra will launch in cinemas on September 27 subsequent 12 months.
