The world’s largest cruise ship is ready to start its maiden voyage Saturday because it will get underway from the Port of Miami.
Royal Caribbean’s Icon of the Seas, which runs practically 1,200 ft (365 metres) from bow to stern, is roughly so long as the Empire State Constructing is excessive: 1,250 ft (381 meters) – not counting the spire and antenna.

The Icon of the Seas is split into eight neighbourhoods throughout 20 decks. The ship consists of six waterslides, seven swimming swimming pools, an ice skating rink, a theatre and greater than 40 eating places, bars and lounges.
