Based on Ted Kravitz, the FIA are already wanting into the loophole that allowed Sergio Perez to serve his five-second time penalty after initially dropping out of the race.
He defined: “The FIA mentioned sure so that they did it and it labored. It was fairly weird watching Checo return, I feel he was in his denims already and having an ice cream. He went again out, served a penalty after which rejoined solely to DNF once more.
“However I can let you know that the FIA, having seen this loophole, are moderately minded to shut it off fairly shortly for the subsequent race and say for sure infringements – if the penalty has not been served, then it must be a grid penalty on the subsequent race, they don’t seem to be going to let Pink Bull get away with gaming the foundations.
“Don’t get me improper, it was actually intelligent and if I used to be within the Pink Bull workforce I’d say to undoubtedly do it, it’s aggressive. It was genius in case you’re aggressive, by no means thoughts the spirit of the foundations haha! However the FIA aren’t too completely satisfied about it.”
