California sheriff sergeant shot in gasoline station firefight Categorical Instances

A San Bernardo County Sheriff’s sergeant was shot twice Friday afternoon following a lethal shootout with a suspect at a gasoline station in Victorville, California, authorities confirmed. 

The 16-year veteran was shot in his thigh and shin and is anticipated to outlive. 

“I am happy to announce there usually are not going to be life-threatening accidents and our sergeant’s going to get better absolutely from this,” San Bernardino County Sheriff Shannon Dicus informed reporters in a Friday night press briefing.

The suspect started firing on the sergeant after officers responded to the scene over experiences of a person threatening a girl with a gun.
